PC This type applies spherical polish to a ferrule endface, restraining Fresnel reflection without matching material to provide PC (Physical Contact). 25 dB or more
SPC/AdPC Applying PC polish to a mirror plane enables low reflection. 40 dB or more
UPC Applying PC polish to a mirror plane more and more enables further lower reflection. 50 dB or more
APC This type applies angled spherical polish to a ferrule endface, achieving ultra-low reflection. 60 dB or more
