Connectors

Typical polishing methods and their features

| PC | This type applies spherical polish to a ferrule endface, restraining Fresnel reflection without matching material to provide PC (Physical Contact). | 25 dB or more |
| SPC/AdPC | Applying PC polish to a mirror plane enables low reflection. | 40 dB or more |
| UPC | Applying PC polish to a mirror plane more and more enables further lower reflection. | 50 dB or more |
| APC | This type applies angled spherical polish to a ferrule endface, achieving ultra-low reflection. | 60 dB or more |
